What is ‘HOLARCH’?
On a basic level Holarch (or ‘holarchy’) considers how various parts and wholes of a system relate to and exchange information with each other whether in nature, our bodies, our minds, built environments or any type of system. This is the driving force and inspiration behind Holarch Design, especially on the design, values assessment and strategic insight side of the business. We consider which level of goals and development the client is designing/building for and the most efficient way to prioritize resources for that outcome. Our core aspiration is an interdisciplinary approach of combining spatial and developmental psychology with standard practices of the construction industry to create spaces that truly feel empowering and align with what matters most for the clients' current stage of life.
